Using Comic Life, design a simple comic page that demonstrates your understanding of at least four of the following color schemes:

  • Primary
  • Secondary
  • Analogous
  • Monochromatic
  • Complementary
  • Tertiary
  • Warm
  • Cool
  • High Intensity
  • Low Intensity

In addition, you will need to include a mood for the color scheme and painting.

You will use famous paintings for your images. Please be sure to use the entire painting, not just a cropped section. Use any of the following links to find the paintings:

MOMA
Boston Museum of Fine Art
Portland Museum of Art

You must:

  • Label each color scheme and the mood that is typical for that scheme.

  • Title your artwork: Color Schemes.

  • Keep a bibliography, in MLA format. This will be placed on the back of your art work.

  • Record the title, date, and artist for each painting used. This will be placed on the back of your art work.

  • If you can, label each color scheme with the mood that YOU get from the image; this may NOT be the same as the typical one for that scheme.
